Signs of Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a kind of disaster in one’s life. Major issue with this disease is that its symptoms do not appear soon. It takes around 15 to 40 years to appear after the asbestos exposure which is quite critical. Due to this problem sometimes it becomes impossible to cure the patient properly. Symptoms like pain in chest and shortness of breath are the pointers towards this devastating disease.

There are different types of mesothelioma can occurs in human body. Every type has its own symptoms. If the patient have breathing issue and chest paining than they are the symptoms of pleural mesothelioma. While peritoneal mesothelioma has its own particular pointing factors like, sudden weight loss, swelling in abdomen and pain in stomach. Blood clothing, fever and anemia also points towards peritoneal mesothelioma.

If the disease has spread out from the origin to different parts of body than it may possible that other affected part may be swelled. It will also aggravate the disease. If the disease is attacking on the lungs than it may have symptoms like fatigue, blood in cough and pleural effusion. In the severe conditions many kinds of tumors may also developed in hum body.

Collapse of lungs in another serious signal of pleural mesothelioma and spreading of disease may cause collapse of other organs of human body. If the disease has spread severe effects on the whole body than some more severe symptoms occur while includes, thrombophlebitis (it is a result of clots in blood), pleural effusion (causes clogging in lungs and chest), disseminated intravascular coagulation (due to this bleeding occurs in different organs of the body), jaundice (eyes and skin becomes yellow) and pulmonary emboli (clotting in the arteries). This disease does not reach to your bone and glands as pleural occur at one side of lungs.
